Well were do I start? I know how about right here! Wow what a mental weekend, probably the best show of the year in my opinion. A handful of us all left about 1200 to make sure we got there around about 1300, we were running a little late as normal and arrived @ 1330. To find the Showground not open due to it not being fully set up. So we chilled & hit the beers in the car park until the staff let us in an hour later.
Once we had sorted out all the confusion with the tickets @ the main gate, our next concern locating the club stand and setting up our plot. The weather was fair and not too windy as we attempted to set up the Gazebo, which is always a good laugh with cold hands. Once we had set up the stand DJ Flexa started mash up the DnB vibe, as we all knocked back the beers. After an hour of boppin we decided to hit the fun fair, check us out on the Booster.
There was various Rides demonstrating their flamer kits and ICE systems drawing crowds into the club stand. Through out the day the Club Stand got plenty attention, due to the Ladee's, DJ's and everyone else generally having it up Rapid Rude Style. The Model's looked fine as you will see from the picture's, on the Saturday we took picture of the Ladee's on each of the Members rides which are available for the members on a large print. The smoke machine caused concern for the site staff, as at first they thought our stereo equipment was on fire. The smoke machine did its job very well, it was decided by some that we should fill the gazebo up with smoke which was rather humorous. This happened quite regularly over the weekend, as some individuals got a bit carried away not mentioning any names of course.
As the day drew to an end the evening entertainment started to kick in, in the Rave complex they had DJ Ritchie Don & The Fuel Girls entertaining the crowds. After another heavy night everyone was a little worn out, but yet again Steve was up bright and early to set up the stand. Some of the crew decided to play a bit of a joke and hid the generator, this only delayed the tunes for a short time.
Once everyone was up and ready the day got off to a brilliant start with everyone in good sprits, we decided to take a risk and do some drifting on the stand for the crowds. We pulled it off and the crowds were loving it. Jay ripped it up in his Scooby & Mr Smith smacked it his BMW 325i. And finally after that there was the waxing, which was funny really.
