RapidRudeRides.Com started the show season with a bang, there was over 15 Rapid Rude Rides on display representing the club @ the first show of the year.
As normal the drive up there was jokes, and as we travelled up the A1M the weather seemed to get better. Its about 70 miles to Santa Pod, so we were there after about an hour of driving fully ready for the weekend!

Our Stand was in the grass area, which wasn't the best location but as hardcore car enthusiasts we didn't let it dampen our spirits. We proceeded to get the gazebo up ASAP, so we could start our Rapid Rude party with DJ's Flexa & Roama.
Everyone was ready for a great time once the tunes were pumping, until some jumped up jobs worth of a security guard informed us that if we didn't turn off the tunes we would be removed from the site.

So Steve and Dave took a quick drive down to the main gate to consult the organisers about the tunes, to find that we were allowed our stereo loud until 2200 hours and just had to keep it quiet after then. So the party continued, as we all had a few beers and a bop to the beats until the early hours. Steve kindly informed everyone that he would be on the case @ about 8 in the morning, so it might be an idea to get some kip.

An early start for all, as we got ready for the day. First thing first was getting the Rides in formation, Steve decided on the symmetrical angle formation for the Saturday which looked rather presentable. Once all set up our Rapid & Rude Ladee's were on the job looking the part and went off handing out flyers & taking pictures. Be sure to check out each section of pictures via the links in the top left.

Due to the condition of the grass from the rain and cars everyone took it upon themselves to slide on the grass, some more than others. We A few cars got completely spattered by a certain BMW & Someone in their Scooby came past security sideways @ about 30mph and had there keys taken until the end of the show. The culprits know who they are, He He. As the day progressed there was plenty going on and the RapidRudeRides team managed to capture some excellent footage. Terry Grant was performing, with some new tricks up his sleeves.

Also the RRR Ladee's made a great impact, with their new outfits and quality flyers. A good start to the season, although our location was not the best we still managed to promote ourselves well and make an Impact on the 2008 scene. A Big Thanks to the Staff, the Models, the DJ's & MC's and most importantly the members. It would of not happened without you & we all had a great time!
