A hardcore weekender
for all who came, defiantly better that the Fast Show but a shame about the
English weather!

Between the members there was a great
vibe the few days b4 ISTS, we were all ready for a great weekend. 5 of
us left midday on the Friday afternoon, and arrived about 12 o'clock. We
were delegated enough space for everyone to camp together, and everyone
had arrived by 9 o'clock @ night. Once Dave & Rik arrived they set up
the ICE after convincing Steve it was a good idea to get the generator
out of the tightly packed BM!

After a entertaining evening of
alcohol, music and jokes. It was up @ 8 o'clock so that we could get to
our stand and set up. The queue to exit the campsite was already massive
even b4 everyone was up, and we must have sat In It for about an hour.
Finally we got into the show and found our club stand locations, we had
two different Stands because of people paying up late...
We all managed to fit on the one, with a couple of cars on the campsite.

The conditions were a little wild and
putting the Gazebo up was quite good fun, but once it was up we started
pumping the choons. DJ Flexa & DJ Roama were on the decks, pumping out
the beats. Once the sun came out we started to see the Ladee's, posing
on the motors in some interesting positions. A couple of gorgeous
professional models were posing on a few of our members Rides.

Lauren, Vicki, Chantelle, Shona &
Chelsea were out for a while promoting us, but due to the wild
conditions they came back after a while. It was quite nippy and kept
raining on and off, so really appreciated what they did do! As the day
progressed the weather laid off a little, So Steve and a few others went
for a wonder around the show. 2008 has brought quite a few new demo car's,
one that caught our eye was the Merc on 26" Rims done by Alpine.

The Show was packed and there was a
great vibe all round, with the track action as well there was plenty to
see. A hand full of the members were claiming they were up for some
track action, but in the end it was only Steve in his BM that had some
track time. On the Saturday afternoon the weather was quite good as the
show drew to a close for the day, everyone headed back to the campsite
to start the party.

Once we arrived back on the campsite we
found the grass was now mud, as everyone was sliding around. A few of
the members went sideway, on a few occasions. After a pit stop to the
local supermarket we continued to party all night, The Cream Tent was
very entertaining for all and The Live PA was excellent. Once we had all
had enough we got some sleep. In The morning there was snow and the mud
was covered, Steve & Paul both got completely stuck!

The Sunday show was
plagued with tired people and wild showers, by about one o'clock it
started to brighten up but by then most of us wanted to come back so we
made a move.
The drive back was quality, there was loads of us all cruising together
down the M1. It must of been 130 Miles of a Rapid Rude Convoy! |
